Me Made Mittwoch 13.06.12

Catherine von Cat und Kascha hats erfunden und zeigt jeden Mittwoch ein neues tolles Kleidungsstück das sie selbst gemacht hat. Eine schöne Idee und ich spring mal mit auf den Zug. Nur dass ich den Me Made Mittwoch etwas erweitere auf ALLES was ich selbst gemacht habe. Coat Alteration

I had this coat for almost a year and never wore it because it was too big. You can´t really see it on these fotos but it was REALLY big at the waist. I like when my clothes underline my waist, so I decided to take  the coat in at the waist. It is very easy, but see for yourself.

Refashion

Last year I wrote my bachelor thesis about ecological cultivated and fair traded cotton. I liked to research for that thesis and started to think more about how I shop. During my research I came upon many labels that work with recycled material or reuse used clothes. I love the idea to refashion unused clothes rather than throwing them away. This way we can do a little part to help our environment and save a lot of water, energy and resources. read more...
