Refashion

Last year I wrote my bachelor thesis about ecological cultivated and fair traded cotton. I liked to research for that thesis and started to think more about how I shop. During my research I came upon many labels that work with recycled material or reuse used clothes. I love the idea to refashion unused clothes rather than throwing them away. A picnic with Danielle

I made this dress with a free Burda Style pattern called Danielle. I made it with a very soft crepe like fabric that I found for 3€ per meter. I hated sewing this fabric. It never did what I wanted it to do since it was so strechy. Just the cutting took hours and didnt go very well. In the end the neckline turned out too big, which was not reversible. read more...
